MINI ART BOOK
We finally put together a mini art book you can download now for free. This November will mark the tenth anniversary of our first issue, "The Demo" from 2015. It was originally supposed to be a preview issue of the graphic novel. BACK TO SCHOOL
Summer's over and the kids are back in school. Most teenagers in NYC know about these student passes the MTA gives out. So we figured why not make a new version of our popular RetroCards. This one has a different look on a white card with green trimming. Here's an early peek of what they'll look like when you receive one.

So we put together a playlist to stream, a compilation of the two soundtracks that we previously released. Along with the 'kreature' track from the animated proof of concept. Eight years ago, Complex did an article about our aspirations for Tephlon Funk!® While we're not exactly where we'd like to be currently. Things have been looking up over the past few weeks, there's some new projects being worked on now. We can't discuss the details at this time, but we got some more volumes on the way.

BOOK TWO UPDATE
Just wanted to let you know we're still hard at work on Tephlon Funk 2. Hit a few snags, but hopefully we can get back on track soon. Dark Horse is still supporting us. When the time's right, we'll post preview pages, it's looking really good so far.

We recently got ourselves a huge shoutout, from one of the best comedians in the industry. We sent Godfrey both a copy of Tephlon Funk!® and a t-shirt. A 'lil birdie out there told us that he's both a big comic book and anime fan. So make sure you go checkout "In Godfrey We Trust" podcast and subscribe to his YouTube channel.
This marks twenty years since Tephlon Funk!® was first created. It started with just a simple doodle of a young girl in cornrows and the rest was history. June 2004 was the beginning of a long, arduous journey and there's much more down the pipeline. Thank you for all the support and sticking with this amazing IP over the years.

Quick update, a few months ago we made a backup Instagram account. It's mostly used to archive old posts from several years back and to have another spot on the platform. Here's a peek at one of the storyboards put together by the folks at D'ART Shtajio in 2017. This was for the proof of concept animation we used to shop around the IP. THE STAR REPORT
Sent a copy of Tephlon Funk!® to none other than Star, a legendary New York City radio host from the '00s. He not only gave the book a lot of praise, but we also got some advice on how we should move forward. Stephane, David and Nicolas did an interview with the comic book outlet, Previews World. In it, they discuss how Tephlon Funk!® was first illustrated. This took a while to pull off since the team is split between New York City and Paris. Take a look at it, you might learn something new.
KREATURE
So back in 2017, we dropped this track, along with the anime teaser we released on YouTube. Fat Jon put this together in no time since he was excited for it as we were. ALTERNATE BRANDS
In the world of Tephlon Funk!® it's a mostly accurate depiction of New York City in the mid '90s. Except for a few things that had to be changed to avoid any potential lawsuits. So Nicolas went back and changed some background images in the comic which ended up being a lot of fun coming up with different brand names.

A RANDOM MOMENT
Now this was a pleasant surpise, Music In Anime is a YouTuber we'd been following for a bit. He collects and reviews anime soundtracks on vinyl, along with their other variant releases. We had ourselves a blast at this year's Anime NYC convention. Never thought we'd miss vending so much, but you know how it goes when we take that for granted. We originally had this put together back in 2020 and was illustrated by David Tako. He wanted this to have a distinct, anime-inspired aesthetic. It measures at 4 ✕ 5.4 inches, just to help give you an idea of how large this postcard is. So that's roughly about half the size of a basic ruler.
